Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are between

These terms apply to your use of Melossom Analytics (the Service), operated by Aureus Management Ltd, trading as Melossom, registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 10 Corporation Road, Newport NP19 0AR. By connecting an Instagram account or signing in to the Service you agree to these terms.

2. What the Service does

The Service retrieves performance data for Instagram professional accounts that you connect, using Meta's Instagram API with your authorisation, and presents that data to you and to the Melossom team that supports your account. It is a read-only analytics tool. It does not post, comment, message or make any change to your Instagram account.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, and you may only connect an Instagram account that you own or are authorised to connect. The account must be an Instagram professional account (Creator or Business).

4. Your Instagram authorisation

Connecting an account grants the Service an access token issued by Meta. You can withdraw that authorisation at any time from Instagram under Settings, Website permissions, Apps and websites, or by following our Data Deletion Instructions. Withdrawing authorisation stops all further data collection immediately.

5. Your data

How we collect, use, store and delete your data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to access data for accounts you are not authorised to connect, to interfere with the Service, or to use it for any purpose that breaches Meta's Platform Terms or applicable law.

7. Availability and accuracy

The figures shown in the Service come from Meta and are provided as received. Meta may change, delay or withdraw metrics, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or that any figure is complete or error free.

8. Meta and Instagram

Instagram and Meta are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the Service. Your use of Instagram remains subject to Instagram's own terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from decisions you take based on figures shown in the Service.

10. Ending access

You can stop using the Service and disconnect your account at any time. We may suspend or end access to the Service if these terms are breached or if we stop offering it.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the current version on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions to mgmt@melossom.com.
